Great Old fashion time

This is an old time coffee shop/diner. We stopped in last week for a late lunch. Although the atmosphere is classic, the food was terrific. And hopefully you get Carol as your waitress, another classic, she kept us laughing and enjoying our meal the whole time. I had a HUGE Cobb Salad, Tom had the chicken burger, both were great. It's in an old strip mall, but worth a visit.

Good food & friendly service

I enjoyed my meal here very much, had the chicken caesar salad. I dined with two people, and their sandwich/burger and fries smelled and looked D-lish! I liked that they have healthier options on the menu. The food was good, friendly service and a homey atmosphere :)

very satisfying

I've been meaning to review this place for a while. My hubby was in the ICU at Mills Peninsula hospital last month for over a week, I was getting tired of hospital cafeteria food. This place is in a strip mall across from the hospital, luckily it was open til 9, I walked in at 8:30pm. I reluctantly ordered the spaghetti and meatballs, just wanting a good hot meal. Wow, to my surprise the sauce was homemade, with a bunch of stuff I don't even like in my tomato sauce, like carrots, but it was really good. And the meatballs were homemade too. I really appreciate that this place makes food not out of a box or freezer. It was just what I needed. Has a lot of senior citizens, I'm not all that young, but I think I was the youngest person there. If you want a good meal, check it out, and if you are unsure, the waitresses will be honest about what's good and what's not, so another plus
