The San Francisco South Bay's Premiere Gay, Lesbian, Transgender & Bisexual Asian Support & Social Organization

OUR VISION
To provide each other with an extended family that will support and embrace our quest for self-discovery, love, and social acceptance.

OUR MISSION
To provide a fun and safe environment for queer Asians and Pacific Islanders in the South Bay to come out and be comfortable with their sexual identity and ethnicity, as well as be vital and visible to the greater community.

Our meetings serve as a forum where individuals can freely discuss issues relevant to being gay/bisexual/lesbian/transgender and Asian in a relaxed and friendly environment. SBQA's social events afford members opportunities to meet others of similar backgrounds and interests and to build new, lasting friendships. The social events are open to all ethnicities. Our group also supports the development of its members' organizational leadership skills.

Membership in SBQA is free! Simply show up to one of our boatload of social events or a rap session (Some events might need to be rsvp because of limited space). Rap session is open to all API LGBT only and social events are open to all.

Join our Yahoo Group to receive our event announcements where members can keep in touch with other members, meet new people, and post messages. The Yahoo group is moderated. All the messages posted to the yahoo group will be filtered by our moderator. We will never share your email with anyone!

Each of our rap sessions and events will be announced on our website and through our yahoo group mailing list. So, make sure you join our yahoo group mailing list or check out our website regularly for updated events announcement.
